Photography Competition 2020 (CLOSED) - Kay Ransom Photography

Thank you to everyone who entered, the amateur photography competition received 76 entries and is now closed! Congratulations to Lucy who was the winner! Myself and John Whitmore Photography spent several hours judging over zoom and it was a really tricky one to decide, we’ve written a brief critique on each of the top five photos including the winning entry!

I have launched a photography competition for novices and amateurs to enter during the virus lock downs! This is something fun for people to do and also has the incentive of winning a fantastic prize! This competition has been sponsored 6 O’clock Gin who are based in Thornbury, they have provided a bottle of Strikingly Smooth 6 O’clock Gin London Dry, this is a premium gin, which will be delivered to your door should you win!

The brief is “Social Distancing“. This is open to interpretation and I am really intrigued to how people will interpret this brief and look forward to seeing the entries! The deadline is 30th April 2020, I will be announcing the winner May 2020, it will be judged by more than one photographer. This competition is open to adults only, max two entries per person.
